Golf for a Great Cause

The 1st Annual “Giddy Up” Golf Tournament held on September 7th, 2025 at Tall Pines Players Club was a massive success thanks to the generosity and support of our wonderful community. 24 teams of family, friends, and local golfers participated in this Seinfeld-themed tournament in memory of Mike.

With mini-games like “Giddy Up” Slots, The Seinfeld Spin, and the whale pitching contest, the day was full of excitement for golfers and visitors alike. After the completion of the evening meal, awards were presented to the below teams and individuals.

Winners of countless raffles were also pulled, but the largest prize of the evening was that of the 50-50 Duck Pluck. Raffle tickets were sold in the months leading up to the tournament and on the day of. The winning duck plucked from the pond belonged to Jerry Weidow, who was awarded the grand prize of over $8,000.

We are so incredibly grateful for the many volunteers, donors, sponsors, and participants that were part of this day. Our mission of carrying on Mike’s legacy is only possible with the support of the community. Through your generosity, we can continue to contribute to the causes Mike was passionate about. We hope that all those who attended had a fantastic time and we would love to see all of you next year! The 2026 “Giddy Up” Golf Tournament will be pirate themed and the date will be announced in the coming weeks.
