Many student-athletes and musicians aspire to attend college after high school. Earning a degree can be incredibly rewarding and helpful in building a strong career, but the financial barriers for many students are quite large. We will provide a scholarship to a college-bound student every spring in an effort to lessen the financial burden of higher education.

The Michael E. Guinane “Giddy Up” Scholarship is merit-based and awarded to a senior student-athlete or musician from Montrose Area Jr/Sr High School that will be attending any public or private educational institution the following fall. This student should value kindness, care about the world around them, and find joy in either athletics or music.
